Air
Mauritius was incorporated in June 1967
and started its operations modestly with a Piper-Navajo.
Today, the airline flies to the main European,
Asian and African destinations and service provided
is leveled at international standards.
Air Mauritius flies some 850,000 passengers to
about 30 destinations. The National Carrier operate
with five Airbus A340-300, two Airbus A319-100,
two Boeing 767 ER, one ATR 72-500, 2 ATR 42-500
and three Bell Range helicopters.

Air Seychelles was officially created in 1978
as a domestic airline. International flights
started in 1983 with a first weekly flight to
Europe: Seychelles - Frankfurt - London.

(MAI) took off in August 1993, created by
a joint venture between Myanma Airways and Singapore
interests with the support of Royal Brunei Airlines.
MAI became the international airline of Myanmar
with regular flights between Yangon, (the capital
of Myanmar) Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok,
Hong Kong, Kunming, Dacca and Jakarta. MAI continues
to develop regionally.
